FAQs
Ask Us A Question!
Do you take insurance?
We're not in network with any insurance companies and are considered an Out of Network provider. In order to best preserve the confidentiality and client centeredness of treatment, we don't correspond with your insurance company at all. This also means that a diagnosis is not required to receive care. We do issue superbills upon request for you to submit for possible out of network reimbursement and we accept HSA/FSA cards.
How much do sessions cost?
Fees will vary by therapist, but they range from $175-$300 per hour-long session. Intake sessions (the very first appointment) are more complex and slightly higher in cost that first time. During our consultation call we'll go over all cost-related details.
How often will we meet?
As trauma therapists, we truly understand the necessity for a trusting relationship. That being said, we'll start by meeting either weekly or every other week. As we go along, we'll work together to find the frequency that feels the best for what you need and where you are.
How long does therapy usually last?
That depends on what you're working on. Some people find what they're looking for after just a few months and others stick around for a longer period of time to keep working through the layers. We'll keep that conversation open and transparent along the way.
What is Brainspotting?
Brainspotting is a form of focused mindfulness that targets deeply rooted issues in the brain and body. While it can be used for a vast array of issues, it is highly effective for trauma treatment.
What is developmental trauma?
Developmental trauma is the combination of childhood trauma or overwhelming stress that is repetitive and ongoing across the developmental years.
